About Green Coffee House Restaurant

Established 12 years ago by our proprietor and chef, Khun Surin, Green Coffee House Restaurant has evolved from humble beginnings as a simple beach shack into the charming, cozy retreat it is today. Khun Surin’s culinary journey began when she worked as an assistant to a Danish chef aboard a luxury charter yacht. It was there that she honed her skills and developed a deep love for cooking and baking. With a dream to share her passion for food with others, Khun Surin opened Green Coffee House Restaurant on the shores of Koh Yao Noi.

Over the years, our restaurant has grown from a small beachside eatery to a favorite destination among visitors to the island. The original location was a basic shack serving Thai and European dishes that expanded to include a small convenience shop. Sadly, during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 our restaurant was forced to close for nearly two years. But, as the saying goes, when one door closes, another opens.

In 2022, Green Coffee House Restaurant made its triumphant return in a new location, just a stone’s throw away from its original spot. Our new, more spacious and comfortable premises provide the perfect setting for a delightful dining experience, whether it’s a relaxed breakfast, a romantic dinner, or a gathering with friends and family. Though the shop is no longer part of our establishment, we continue to focus on providing a diverse menu that caters to a variety of tastes and preferences.
